On August 28, 2026, the Pastra Cretonaxiosa swimming team took part in the 2026 EEuropean Aquatics Masters Championships, joining more than 4,000 athletes from across Europe, while also celebrating ten years since the team first swam across the English Channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the Bosphorus and the English Channel, this was the third time the team had travelled abroad for an open-water race, carrying forward the vision of our organization and honoring our scholars, past and present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The delegation included\u00a0Evgenia Tzannini, Sotiris Pastras, Apostolis Tsagkarakis, Vasilis Sofikitis, Vasilis Maroulis, Evangelos Zourbakis, Konstantinos Michos and Sofia Psilognou, while <\/strong>the team\u2019s participation was covered by Greek television channel ANT1, with journalist Isaac Karipidis reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we close a remarkable decade, our journey continues into new waters, with new students joining us along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
