2023 Naxos – Schinoussa Cross Swim

This year, the team of Pastra Cretonaxiosa, will attempt a cross-swim during September 24-25. The cross-swim will take place under the auspices of HE the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The team members will cover a distance of 40 kilometers in the form of a relay race, from Naxos to Schinoussa.  This year’s race is dedicated to the victims of the recent fires and floods and especially to the students of these areas.  

The purpose of this highly symbolic initiative is to raise public awareness in order to financially support the work of the “ExcellenSeas” scholarship program. The swimmers participating in the cross swim are: Evgenia Giannini, Sotirios Pastras, Apostolos Tsagkarakis, Evaggelos Zourbakis, Konstantinos Michos, Vasileios Maroulis and Vasilios Sofikitis.  The team, during their stay in Naxos, will have the pleasure of being hosted by a well-known Hotel of Naxos and we sincerely thank the Hotel Management for their Hospitality. The ANT1 Group is responsible for the Media Coverage.
